The Lombok-Indonesia team provided a brilliant service from start to finish for our 3 day 2 night hike. Our guide, Sting, was amazing and we recommend asking for him – he was an expert of the mountain and encouraged me up when I was finding things tough (it is a hard trek!) Hill was available in the build up on WhatsApp to answer questions which was very helpful. And the team of porters provided brilliant food on the mountain and comfy tents. Highly recommend!

Our 3D/2N hike to Rinjani and the Lake was an incredible experience. The list of good things is meter long. It all stars with our guide, Toni, who was excellent and very funny, in the same time we knew he would always be there on the spot if something should happen. We loved the food our sweet porters cooked (they are incredible and so strong and always smiling btw). Also the homestead was nice and clean and with some very sweet staff. I would really recommend this experience, it was hard, but with all this good energy I believe you can do it!

This crew is like no other! Our guide Sting has more than 20 years of experience on this mountain, so when my friend could only make it to the second stage during the summit push on day 2, he knew exactly what to do. We’d booked the 3D/2N Summit & Lake trek, where the usual route adds an extra 640m of elevation after descending from the summit (3726m) down to the lake (2000m). We were sure my friend wouldn’t manage the full 12 hours planned for day 2, so Sting reorganized the trip so we didn’t have to give up. We took the “Torean” route instead, which was amazingly beautiful and didn’t leave anything out we still got to bathe in hot springs and take in incredible views, just with a slightly easier route and less elevation. The crew’s flexibility made it all possible. The Torean route is much more technical for the porters, with slippery, steep sections, but we all made it down safely. It’s so fascinating how these guys keep the best attitude ever while doing such hard work. Massive thanks to our guide Sting and the porters!

My partner and I did the 3D/2N Mount Rinjani Summit and Lake trek which was an absolutely surreal experience! The hike was a real challenge but definitely worth it for a once in a lifetime adventure. Adi & Rema our guides were amazing throughout the entire experience; always checking in, prioritising safety, keeping us motivated and constantly had a smile on their faces. The porters were incredible. I am completely in awe of how they carried all of the equipment with ease, overtook us and then prepared all of the delicious meals and set up cosy camp sites before we arrived. Really spectualar to be able to explore Rinjani up close with such an amazing team of dedicated guides and porters. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend to anyone considering it! It might be a challenge but you won’t regret it.

I’ve booked a private 3D 2N Rinjani trekking for 2 pax but it turned out that we had the other trekker joining us. Hill has immediately solved this issue for us and we finally started as a private one. Adi, our guide is very helpful and took good care of us. We were lucky to have him. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to reach the summit within 4 hours and asked to start earlier than 2am but Adi confirmed that with my pace, he believed I could still leave at 2am and reached the summit in time. It would be very cold at the summit if we arrived too early and waited for the sunrise. And yes, we did it at a perfect timing! I walked pretty slow and he was always be with us and even caught me when I was about to fall (Thank you so much, Adi ??). I strongly recommend Adi if anyone looks for Rinjani guide! And thank you so much Hill for the certificate. I didn’t expect that we could get it as we did request on the last day but you did it very nicely for us (printed and laminated) ??

Our amazing guide Adi and the equally strong porters took us on the most incredible trek to the crater rim of Mount Rinjani. It’s the most challenging trek my husband & I have ever done but well worth it. Our children who are 11 & 14 adored the trek & Adi was the perfect guide. We highly recommend booking through this company & asking for Adi. could of had a better tour.

Had a really fun and amazing time during the 3D2N trip. While planning the trip, communication with them was really easy and they always answer all your questions quick. During the hike the groups are small and our guide Toni gave us the best experience and made sure we were all feeling good. He speaks English really well, is very experienced and really made us feel at home! On the way back (including the 2nd night) we really liked that they let us choose which route we wanted to take. The porters were amazing too; they prepared comfortable campsites and amazing food 🙂 Would highly recommend booking your trip with them!

3 of us (2M1F) went on the 3D2N summit with lake itinerary. Another solo traveller joined us (1F). Total 4 pax, 1 guide 4 porters. Adi was our guide (@adila_2632 on ig). Adi was very positive and encouraging. He communicates well in english and was clear with the instructions. He also kept us on schedule and we completed our itinerary. Personally it was really tough, especially on day 2 when we had to hike 6-7hrs in the morning for the summit and another 6hrs after breakfast to the lake then to the next campsite. Exceptional views though, and worth the effort. Love all the meals prepared as well. Lots of veggies and were all yummy!

Summiting Rinjani was one of the best experiences of my life. This was particularly due to our amazing guide, Abill. He always made sure that no one was left behind, and he made what was a tough trek really fun. I 100% recommend it!

We had the most amazing experience hiking Rinjani with Yot as our guide. We couldnt have asked for a better guide, Yot was patient, motivating, funny, and knowledgeable. His cheerful nature made those early mornings and long treks enjoyable and so rewarding. I had never done anything like this previously and having him lead the way made all the difference. An absolutely unforgettable experience! We completed the trek to the summit of Mount Rinjani accompanied by our guide Yot, whose professionalism, kindness, and good humor made all the difference. A huge thank you to him and to the entire team of porters, who managed to delight us with delicious meals despite the altitude conditions and the weight to carry, a true surprise and a real comfort after each stage! The guesthouse at the start of the trek is also very pleasant, a charming place. Flawless organization, a top-notch team, and memories etched for a long time. We recommend it wholeheartedly!

We booked the 2D 1N trip and got Yot as our guide. The hike was challenging, but he got us all to the top. Both Yot and our porters were super friendly and it made the experience so much easier. They supplied us with tasty meals and good conversations. We were a group of four and became a small family. Would recommend!

We did the 3-day, 2-night tour. A big thank you to our experienced, friendly guide, Sting, and our impressive three porters! Sting speaks good English and knows the mountain very well, which made us feel safe at all times. The tour is only for very well-trained and experienced hikers, as you’ll cover approximately 3,800 meters in these three days. It’s very busy on the mountain, especially on the first and second days when you’re climbing to the summit.

We were consistently impressed by the porters, who cooked us great meals. However, you should have a strong stomach 😉; unfortunately, I and another member of our group couldn’t tolerate the food. Working completely hygienically under these conditions is also difficult. However, everything was always heated up properly!

Overall, we are very satisfied with the entire organization!

We were well taken care of during our 3d2n Rinjani hike. The food was good, the service by the porters and guide was superb and fulfilled all our needs. Yot, our guide, was amazing. He adequately prepared us mentally and helped us get to the summit and down safely. He has excellent knowledge of the area and hiking, plus excellent sense of humour which especially helped when the hike was tough. 10/10 would recommend! 💯

Thank you to our guide Adi and our porters for a fantastic and challenging experience summiting Mount Rinjani and hiking through the beautiful landscapes of the National Park. Adi was very friendly & funny and knowledgeable about Mt Rinjani & Lombok culture. He was also very patient and encouraging with us during the more challenging sections of the 3D2N trek. The porters did an amazing job with the meals they cooked for us. The food was delicious and plentiful and gave us lots of energy for the subsequent sections of the trek. Moreover, huge respect to the porters for transporting all the supplies for us throughout the trek, while hiking the challenging terrain in sandals!

Climbing Mt Rinjani was an extremely rewarding and beautiful experience. From the sunset views of Lake Segara Anak on the first evening to watching the sunrise from the summit after hiking up the steep scree slopes under the stars. The homestay facilities are very good with a large private room and great views from the restaurant area. Additionally, the booking experience and organisation of the pre and post trek aspects of the tour was very smooth. Hill, the lead guide was amazing too, with excellent and prompt communication with all the questions I had before the trek.

Trekking to Rinjani is tough however Sting made it all possible. I would not be able to made to the summit before the sunrise without his guidance.

Our guide Fahri was awesome with our group and made it a very fun experience. He catered to our experiences and has taken us to unique places

I had signed up for a 3D2N hiking package with Hill for 22 July to 24 July. Unfortunately, Hill had to make some changes to the hiking arrangement as the government had announced the closure of some trails for safety maintenance a or two day before my hike.

But Hill and his team had done a great job in rearranging the hiking plans with such short notice, not only allowing us to experience the mountain to the fullest but ensuring our safety as well. Hill had also extended his help in arranging a temporary homestay for me upon knowing I had no accommodation for a night due to the sudden changes.

I also thoroughly enjoyed my hike with the guides and porters, who were all so dedicated, friendly, caring and approachable, ensuring our safety and that we were all well taken care of.

I would definitely engage Hill and his team again for my future attempt to hike Mt. Rinjani!

Picked up from the port, stayed in the homestay the night before and dropped at a destination of my choosing after completing the trek. Our guide Tony was great. He knows the area like the back of his hand and speaks great English. He told us all about the area and made sure we were always safe and well looked after. The food was great and there was no shortage of water. The Porters were amazing too and managed to get us the best places to camp each night.Thanks guys!

Rinjani is famous so must be the Lombok Indonesia trek.

We booked before our trip this trek (3D2N)and already get the feeling that’s the organisation was perfectly set : the communication was perfect, the explanations clear.

When we arrived at the port, everything was set. We put our brain off, just following the flow so well organised.

2 hours later, we arrived at the rental shop, met hill and get all the equipments we need. I can already say that you will need everything they do recommend (gloves, raincoat, walking stick) and that they are of very good quality.

We went to our accomodation, the room was clean and get explanations from Hill about the trek. Once again everything was clear, hill was patient, kind, and make us feel like he was really carefully about us to feel happy and confortable.

How can we start better ?

The next morning we met our team : ariadi, our guide, our two porters Door and Adim.

If I have any advice, ask for them to guide you.

Our experience was fantastic and without any doubt, thanks to their professionalism and company. They are kind, attentive, always smiling, they care about you, your well being. They are really good cooker, everything we had was delicious (by the way, the portion was big for us, so to avoid any waste, we ask them to have smaller quantity).

at the end, we felt that we made some friends more than being customer anymore. Making the goodbye harder than never.

Ask for Ariadi to have a wonderfull journey and trust the experience of hill, as an ancient guide and porter, for sure you can trust them 😉

I have been on the 3 day hiking on Rinjani and the trekking was absolutely amazing! The orbni sarkon, transzfer and accommodation went smoothie. Our guide was Sting who is the best guide I could wish! He always kept us updated about the hike, he was motivating, helpful and in a really good mood. The hike is not easy but it really worths it, I loved every moment! We saw breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, clouds, even a rainbow! The weather was perfect in the end of April. The porters are doing unbelieveble work, they carry all the food and tents in baskets and are wearing flipflops. But not only the carrige, also the food they prepare is sooo good, I was really not expecting this good food on the top of the mountains. Thank you Sting and Team for everything!

We had Nabil as a guide and he was awesome! I give him 10/10.

He explains some history of Rinjani, about the legend, I appreciate that.

Also, he gives me good advice about the trek.

At one point, I was really scared because of the heigh. I started to cry and he comes to me, gives me his hand and his support. With his empathy and his presence, I feel secure and this is really important when you are going thru big emotion !!!

Rinjani is a real big wild trek and to have great guides and porter is must. I recommand this company !

As this is my first time hiking Rinjani, I was blessed that i was paired with a great team not forgetting the guide and porters. Utmost respect to the porters especially!

I bought the 3 days 2 nights package. Andy was assigned to guide the team. He was very knowledgeable, organised and never left anyone behind and made sure team stuck together. Keep it up!!

But I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to the food. Prepping of food took a little too long and the food served could have been something thats filling and gives enough energy for hikers.

Other than the food and prepsI think Lombok-indonesia.org have done exceptionally well!

Great experience with Lombok-Indonesia hiking Mount Rinjani. Special shoutout to Sting, our guide. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was thoughtful, extremely nice, and he shared his knowledge with us, making the entire experience very pleasant even when the trekking was hard.

A big thanks to the porters. It is incredible what they do, they carry the tents and the food, prepare delicious meals and do so with a smile on their faces. Have nothing but good things to say about this experience.

Amazing views despite the bad weather. Toni and his crew were very accommodating to us! We were provided adequate food and lodging during our stay on the mountain. His cheerful personality also made our trek up the mountain easier as well.

Toni, a very responsible, experienced and energetic tour guide. Always concerned about whether you are hungry more than your grandmother would.

Chose the 3D2N option. Greatly overestimated myself and underestimated Gunung Rinjani so please come prepared physically and mentally. Luckily my very capable guide Endiy was able to accommodate and adjust to my needs. His knowledge of the terrain and the history of Rinjani is impressive.

Along the way our porters Dinn,Pinn and Sull cooked some of the best Indonesian food I have tasted. From ingredients they carried up the mountain on their backs. When we arrived at camp at the end of the first day our tents and bedding were already set up and waiting for us. Waking up to the sunrise atop the mountain with one of the most majestic views I have ever seen was made ten times better with a hot tea in hand. prepared by the guys who carried 90% of our load. I did 2N3D. Great organization and pick up service. First night in hotel before hike was better standard that expected. Actual hike was mixed experience. Fabulous guiding by Endiy and portering plus delicious fresh and cooked food by Dinn, Pinn and Sull. Physically it is tough so come prepared to climb up 2000+m the first day and with good shoes and equipment / change of clothes for three days plus warm and waterproof things! Views good and a memorable experience – if you are fit enough!!!

My girlfriend and I booked a 3 day and 2 night trekking tour with Lombok-Indonesia.org. Communication was excellent. We got a briefing before hand and could stay at there pre arranged home stay. The tour it self was excellent with a great guide (Yot), he could tell us everything you liked to know about the area and kept sure every member of the group was at peace. Luckily the group wasn’t that big. We started the tour in Sembalum and ended in Senaru which we liked. The second day was pretty hard, however very rewarding with a rest at the hotsprings, great lunch, beautiful views and the help of Yot and the great porters(incredible how strong they are and good cooks)!!

Had a really good experience with this company! Sting was a very good knowledgeable guide who adjusted to the pace of our group. The porters did an amazing job carrying all the supplies, we are very grateful for Sting and the porters! It was probably the toughest hike we have ever done but it was very well worth it. It was a wonderfull journey to the Rinjani Summit ! We were really lucky with the weather but especially with the teams ! Our guide, Endiy, was always smiling, giving good energy to climb but also interesting story about the mountains. The 3 porters made an incredible job to provide us good sleeping conditions and delicious food at any time of the day ! We made this aventure together with a friendly French couple and shared really good moments together ! Finally, Hill was really responsive and well organised to provide home stay and travels wherever we wanted in Lombok ! I really recommend this company that is also taking care of their carbage on the moutain and that’s a really good thing.

5 stars well deserved for this incredible trek on Mount Rinjani. Everything was perfect, our Guide Endiy made us spend three unforgettable days despite the difficulty of the route, without forgetting the indispensable help of the porters, these supermen who climb the mountain in flip-flops, even barefoot, loaded with 30 kg on the shoulders and who in addition set up the tents and make us food 3 times a day. Go with your eyes closed, but be prepared because it is a physically difficult trek.

We were lucky to do the Rinjani trek (3 days and 2 nights) with Lombok-indonesia.org company. Trek was tough but Endiy and his team were always there to help. We will remember for a long time their smiles (and also the wake-up at 1:30am to reach Rinjani summit for sunrise). Definitely some experts of Rinjani hiking.

I did the 3 day 2 nights trekking and guide Endiy and porters Dann, Pinn and Adong took very good care of us! The hike is very tough, especially the 2nd day, but the views are amazing.
