Yes, every boat in our fleet carries a comprehensive first aid kit that exceeds standard maritime requirements. On our boats, which operate our popular Lombok to Labuan Bajo route including whale shark encounters, the kit is stored in an easily accessible location known to all crew members. The supplies include bandages, antiseptics, pain relievers, motion sickness tablets, rehydration salts, and basic emergency medications.
Our partner vessels, including our boats, Raffles, Barakati, SIP, our boats, and Arfisyana, also maintain first aid provisions appropriate to their passenger capacity and itinerary length. Crew members across all boats receive regular refreshers on how to use the equipment. While they are not paramedics, they know how to manage cuts, minor burns, dehydration, and sprains until professional help can be reached.
That said, a first aid kit is not a substitute for a hospital. If you take prescription medications, bring more than you need in case the trip extends unexpectedly. Store them in a dry, secure place. If you have severe allergies or conditions requiring specific drugs, inform us during intake. We want you to enjoy the dragons, the snorkeling at Manta Point, and the Padar viewpoint without worry. Proper preparation simply makes that easier.
