Food safety is a top priority for every operator in our network. On our boats, which run the popular Lombok to Labuan Bajo route with full board included, meals are prepared fresh by the onboard cook using ingredients sourced from reliable suppliers in Lombok or Labuan Bajo. The galley follows standard maritime food handling practices, including refrigeration, covered storage, and regular cleaning. Seafood is purchased from trusted vendors and cooked thoroughly.
The full board arrangement means breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are all provided. Dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, or allergy restrictions, should be communicated during intake with Trip or Alvaro before your deposit is paid. We need advance notice to plan menus, especially on multi day trips where restocking is impossible. Last minute requests are difficult to accommodate when the boat is already at sea.
While food on the boat is generally very safe, travelers with sensitive stomachs should ease into rich or spicy dishes gradually. Indonesian cuisine is flavorful and generous with chili. Bring basic digestive aids like activated charcoal or probiotics if you know you are prone to upset. Our premium partners, including our boats and Raffles, maintain similarly high standards. Good food is part of the experience, and we want you to enjoy every meal after a day of snorkeling or dragon watching.
